This certification guarantees that the textiles do not contain substances harmful to health.
Oeko-Tex 100 has over 5,000 companies throughout the world whose products are certified according to this Standard, and it has several European research groups specialising in textile toxicology , who are continuously working to improve and optimise the Standard 100.
