Test without product ID

Made with you in mind

MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® is a traceable consumer label for products made with materials tested for harmful substances, made in environmentally friendly facilities and made in safe and socially responsible workplaces.

The MADE IN GREEN label can be awarded to all kinds of textile products such as garments, home textiles, or furnishing materials for decorative purposes.

Each item with the MADE IN GREEN label features a unique product ID and/or a QR code allowing you to trace the article’s production. Each product ID gives you visibility into the various stages of production as well as the countries in which the textiles were manufactured.

OEKO-TEX® guidelines / test criteria

The OEKO-TEX® guidelines refer to certain criteria defined in the MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® Standard. These can be found in the download area on our OEKO-TEX® webpage.

The criteria state which components and facilities must hold two separate OEKO-TEX® certifications in order to get a MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® label.

  • The first certification system is the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® which verifies that the final textile product has been tested for more than 300 harmful substances.
  • The second is STeP by OEKO-TEX®, a certification system for sustainable textile production, which analyzes and evaluates existing production conditions with regard to the use of environmentally friendly technologies and products as well as safe and socially responsible workplaces.

For more detailed information, please see the chapter "Criteria" in the MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® Standard.

Below you can find more information about the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® and STeP by OEKO-TEX®

As proof that MADE IN GREEN labelled products are harmless to your health, they must successfully pass a laboratory test and certification based on the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.
